IMBA Enduro Bike Race add to itinerary

The National Enduro is a new and exciting event for Windrock in 2018. The best riders from around the country will compete in this adventure style mountain bike race where riders will be tested with a full day on the bike. Enduro mixes the all-out speed with the challenge of being out all day. Spectators are welcome.

Wing Night at Sequoyah Marina add to itinerary

Start off your weekends on Friday night with Sequoyah’s famous "Wing Night" at the dock. Sequoyah Marina serves the best wings and coldest Corona on Norris Lake.

Sundown Saturdays at Stardust Marina add to itinerary

Sundown Saturdays will feature live entertainment each Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the patio at Stardust Marina, voted one of the top five marinas in East Tennessee. Kick back, relax and enjoy!

Fire on the Water add to itinerary

Island Invasion Norris Lake Clean-up add to itinerary

The Norris Lake Project Team will be hosting an “Island Invasion” on September 22nd from 9 am to 1 pm to help clean up debris and trash on the lake’s islands and shorelines. Volunteers from Anderson, Campbell, Claiborne, Grainger and Union counties are needed. There will be several different launch sites. Boats will be available to shuttle volunteers to and from the islands. However, volunteers are welcome to bring their own boats and/or kayaks. Volunteers are urged to wear appropriate shoes, bring gloves and a life jacket. Southeast Triple Crown Enduro add to itinerary

Windrock Bike Park will host the Southeast Triple Crown Enduro. This regional level endurance race will draw riders from around the southeast to Windrock Bike Park. Spectators are welcome.

Collegiate Cycling SECCC add to itinerary

Full time college students will represent their school in a multi discipline mountain bike race featuring both gravity and endurance racing. Spectators are welcome.

Fall Color Boat Trips add to itinerary

Enjoy the fall colors on Norris Lake by taking a leisurely boat ride with your family, friends and local friendly park ranger. Bring a pair of binoculars to view fall’s colors and wildlife while learning about the area’s history. Boat rides last approximately one hour and depart from the Norris Dam Marina. Rides will take place during the last two weeks of October (call ahead for schedule) and departure times will be 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:00 PM & 3:30 PM. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for children age five and under. Reservations are required. For more information and to make reservations, please call the park office at 865-426-7461.

The Bigfoot Blast 5K/10K Trail Run add to itinerary

Windrock Park's 4th Annual 5K & 10K Trail Run/Walk will be a fun, challenging trail with rolling hills and a beautiful mountain view. This trail consists of gravel, dirt and rock. Will there be a Bigfoot sighting? Yes, there is a good possibility! Proceeds from The Bigfoot Blast 5K & 10K will be going to Boys & Girls Club of North Anderson County whose mission is "to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens." Gobble Wobble Hike at Norris Dam State Park add to itinerary

Enjoy a Gobble Wobble Hike at Norris Dam State Park and work off that Thanksgiving meal! Join a park ranger on Friday, November 23rd at 3:00 pm for a 1 mile hike that runs along Norris Lake and circles back through the cabin area. The hike should take about an hour. Hikers should wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of treats for the ranger! Meet at the TVA visitor center at 3:00 pm.
