Windrock Park Spring Jamboree add to itinerary

Guided rides, ATV Rodeo, Poker Run, Windrock Wide Open, Windrock Challenge, Drag Race, Mud Drag and Dash for Cash are just a few of the activities at the Jamboree! You don’t have to be a rider to enjoy. Spectators can watch the competitions and enjoy the fun. The event takes place at Windrock Park which consists of over 72,000 acres of off-road adventure for the entire family with many picturesque views of East Tennessee’s mountains and valleys. Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship Regatta add to itinerary

The 50th annual Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship Regatta (SIRA) is a two day men’s and women’s collegiate competitive regatta that will take place on April 21-22, 2018. SIRA’s will be hosted by Oak Ridge Rowing Association on Melton Lake in Oak Ridge. Approximately 2,000 athletes will compete in this competitive regatta to earn the highly wanted trophy that has been passed down years for their respective event.

Clinch River Spring Antique Fair add to itinerary

The antique fair starts with a kick-off party on Friday, May 4th from 6 to 9 p.m. with musical entertainment. The shops on Market and Cullom Street will be open late and food vendors will be set up in Hoskins-Lane Park. On Saturday, May 5th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., over 100 exhibitors from East Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina and Ohio will offer a wide range of antiques and collectibles to suit every taste. Big XII Conference Championship Regatta add to itinerary

The Big XII Conference Championship Regatta is a Division I Women’s Collegiate Championship event amongst some of the most competitive rowing programs in the country. With heats on Saturday and finals on Sunday, spectators will have the opportunity to listen to live announcements for the first 500 meters of the race and then view the last 1500 meters from the peninsula.

Great Smoky Mountain Trail Ride (GSMTR) add to itinerary

You don’t want to miss the 27th Annual Great Smoky Mountain Trail Ride (GSMTR) being held May 14th-20th. There will be plenty of riding, fun, great food and prizes! For more information, call 865-435-3492.

Dogwood Masters Regatta add to itinerary

The 3rd annual Dogwood Masters Regatta, hosted by the Oak Ridge Rowing Association on Melton Lake, will take place on Saturday, May 19th. Rowers from the ages of 21-80+ will compete in the respective age groups at a 1000 meter distance. Spectators will be able to watch the entirety of the race and then enjoy the Nine Lakes Wine Festival on the peninsula once racing has concluded.

Lavender Festival add to itinerary

The Lavender Festival in Jackson Square, Oak Ridge celebrates health, herbs, and the environment. You’ll find live music, artisan vendors, everything from homemade jam to fine art, a lively children’s tent, and cooking demonstrations and educational presentations throughout the day. The festival takes place from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. Admission to the festival is free with plenty of free parking available.

Annual Norris Day July 4th Celebration add to itinerary

The Norris Lions Club brings you the Annual Norris Day celebration in downtown Norris. Running enthusiasts can begin the day with the Firecracker Road Run sponsored by the Norris Recreation Commission. Later the children’s Dog Show will be held on the Norris Commons, followed by the one-mile Fun Run. No one will want to miss the children’s Wheel Race, the Bicycle Parade, the Water Balloon Toss or the Water-Ball Battles. There will be sack races and duck races, too. One of the highlights of Norris Day is the wonderful barbeque dinner--barbeque pork and chicken with all the sides served by the Norris Lions Club in the Norris Middle School cafeteria from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Norris Day will conclude with a fireworks show. July 4th Celebration and Anvil Shoot add to itinerary

July 4th will be celebrated in an unusual, dramatic, and traditional fashion at the Museum of Appalachia with historic anvil shoots. In addition, there will be demonstrations of mountain arts and crafts. Bluegrass, old time and folk music will be played and sung on the porches of the cabins and in the old log church, hymn singing and church services will be conducted. Clinton Fireworks and 4th of July Event add to itinerary

This FREE event will begin at 5pm and end with fireworks at 10pm. Backyard Bouncers will be set up complete with a 68 foot obstacle course, 22 ft 2 lane Tsunami water slide, bungee run, and more. Kids can also participate in a free round of laser tag. There will be food vendors, live entertainment and antique cars to view. Christmas in July in Downtown Clinton add to itinerary

The 10th Annual Christmas in July will take place in downtown Clinton from 10 am - 5 pm with town wide sales, holiday decor, a visit with Summer Santa, holiday music and festive treats.
