WENTWindrock Event add to itinerary

WENTWindrock brings together Nissan truck and SUV owners from all over the United States for a fun filled event at Windrock Park. If you are new to the off road lifestyle, there are guided trails for all levels of off road adventure. There will be a meet and greet, trail rides, a night run, rock challenge, dinner and more. Southeast Triple Crown Enduro add to itinerary

Windrock Bike Park will host the Southeast Triple Crown Enduro. This regional level endurance race will draw riders from around the southeast to Windrock Bike Park. Spectators are welcome.

Pickin' in the Park at Norris Dam State Park add to itinerary

Join the Friends of Norris Dam State Park for the annual Pickin’ in the Park Concert held the first Friday of October from 5:30 to 9:30 pm. This event is an evening full of bluegrass music, BBQ, local craft vendors, laughter and fun. The event is located at the historic amphitheater and tearoom on the east side of Norris Dam State Park. There is no entrance fee but donations to the Friends of Norris Dam are strongly encouraged! If you have any questions, please call the park office at 865-426-7461.

Clinch River Fall Antique Festival add to itinerary

The Anderson County Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring the Clinch River Antique Festival in Historic Downtown Clinton. The Festival will start with a "Kick-Off Party" on Friday, October 12th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with live entertainment,delicious food and great shopping with the antique and specialty stores staying open late. On Saturday, October 13th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., more than 90 antique dealers and artisans will line Market and Cullom Streets. There is free admission and parking. Collegiate Cycling SECCC add to itinerary

Full time college students will represent their school in a multi discipline mountain bike race featuring both gravity and endurance racing. Spectators are welcome.

Fall Color Boat Trips add to itinerary

Enjoy the fall colors on Norris Lake by taking a leisurely boat ride with your family, friends and local friendly park ranger. Bring a pair of binoculars to view fall’s colors and wildlife while learning about the area’s history. Boat rides last approximately one hour and depart from the Norris Dam Marina. Rides will take place during the last two weeks of October (call ahead for schedule) and departure times will be 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:00 PM & 3:30 PM. Windrock Park Fall Jamboree add to itinerary

There will be guided rides, ATV Rodeo, rock crawl, poker run, Windrock Wide Open, Windrock Challenge, Drag Race, Mud Bog and Dash for Cash! The Fall Jamboree includes a haunted trail ride and bonfire to conclude the first night!  The event takes place at Windrock Park which consists of over 72,000 acres of off-road adventure for the entire family with many picturesque views of East Tennessee’s mountains and valleys. Explore over 300 miles of trails for riding ATV’s, Motorcycles, Mountain Bikes, in addition to four wheeling in Jeeps and Rail buggies and Hiking. The Bigfoot Blast 5K/10K Trail Run add to itinerary

Windrock Park's 4th Annual 5K & 10K Trail Run/Walk will be a fun, challenging trail with rolling hills and a beautiful mountain view. This trail consists of gravel, dirt and rock. Will there be a Bigfoot sighting? Yes, there is a good possibility! Proceeds from The Bigfoot Blast 5K & 10K will be going to Boys & Girls Club of North Anderson County whose mission is "to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens." Gobble Wobble Hike at Norris Dam State Park add to itinerary

Enjoy a Gobble Wobble Hike at Norris Dam State Park and work off that Thanksgiving meal! Join a park ranger on Friday, November 23rd at 3:00 pm for a 1 mile hike that runs along Norris Lake and circles back through the cabin area. The hike should take about an hour. Hikers should wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of treats for the ranger! Meet at the TVA visitor center at 3:00 pm.

A Candlelight Christmas add to itinerary

Experience the serenity of an Appalachian Christmas during the Candlelight Christmas Tour at the Museum of Appalachia. November 30th, December 1st & 2nd from 5pm-8pm, tour selected cabins in the Museum village by candlelight, take photos with Santa, enjoy Christmas storytelling, drink hot apple cider, sing carols in the Irwin Chapel, visit with Museum animals, and make Appalachian ornaments. Musicians will be performing throughout the grounds, as well as spinning & weaving demonstrations, blacksmithing, sassafras tea making, and lots of holiday craft activities for kids! Holiday Homecoming Celebration at Norris Dam State Park add to itinerary

Join us on December 8th from 5:00 to 9:00 pm for a walk through time and discover traditions of the 1930s. The rustic cabins are transformed into a winter village of living history. Cabins are decorated in historical, natural and cultural themes, as well as honoring the nation’s veterans. It’s an evening full of historical interpretation, holiday treats, old time caroling, and of course St. Nick to tell your Christmas wishes. Festivities take place on the historic East Side.
