Clinch River
Name:

Clinch River

Description:
Many experienced anglers consider the Clinch tail waters that flows 13 miles from Norris Dam, to be the finest trout fisheries in the Country. The clear, shallow, slow-moving Clinch demands a stealthy approach, delicate presentation, small flies and draf-free drifts. It is very much like fishing a spring creek, but it is over 75 years wide. To consistently catch its wild, wary rainbow and brown trout requires concentration, careful execution and patience. There are many access points to enjoy fishing and boating activities. Guide services and maps available.
