Clinch River
Many experienced anglers consider the Clinch tail waters that flows 13 miles from Norris Dam, to be the finest trout fisheries in the Country. The clear, shallow, slow-moving Clinch demands a stealthy approach, delicate presentation, small flies and draf-free drifts. It is very much like fishing a spring creek, but it is over 75 years wide. To consistently catch its wild, wary rainbow and brown trout requires concentration, careful execution and patience.
