As the number one motorcycle/sports car road in the country, be ready to scrape your foot pegs in some of these wild curves. The Tail of the Dragon is bordered by National Forest on one side and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park boasting 318 curves in 11 miles. This world famous piece of asphalt, US 129, is a must ride for all enthusiasts. The main season is April through October. 

From Anderson County, take Interstate 75 South to I275 to Interstate 40 West. Take the Alcoa Hwy/Airport/Highway 129 Exit. Travel South on Highway 129 through Maryville to Tallassee. Continue on 129 to begin the Tail of the Dragon.
